Each school that attends the Youth Forum tells the other schools a little about what they have been doing.
This time our Year 6 children were accompanied by two representatives from year 5 who were visiting the Youth Forum for the first time.
The Grange pupils talked about the exciting visit that Years 1 and 2 had from the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the fantastic visit Years 3 and 4 had to the School Farm and Country Show in April and the enjoyable trip Year 6 had to Landguard Fort in May learning how the fort was used for defence in World War II.
The children also spoke about our Friends of Grange who are working extremely hard to raise money for the school. Recent events include the school disco, Mother's day gift sale and an Easter Egg Raffle as well as regular class cake sales.
Our Year 6 pupils thanked Felixstowe Town Council for holding the Youth Forum as they think it is a great opportunity for schools to share information and learn about the wider Felixstowe community. They have loved taking part and hope their successors will too!
