Why should I arrive for school on time?
It is important that children arrive in school on time everyday for a number of reasons.
The table below shows how lateness can add up over the school year:
Lateness = lost learning!
|5 minutes late each day||3 days lost!|
|10 minutes late each day||6.5 days lost!|
|15 minutes late each day||10 days lost!|
|20 minutes late each day||13 days lost!|
|30 minutes late each day||19 days lost!|
Our school day starts at 8.50am and pupils should be in the playground by 8.45am to line up with their class for registration.
If there is a particular reason why you are finding it difficult to arrive in school on time please discuss this with your child's class teacher or Mrs Julie Robinson our Parent Support Manager.
Thank you for your co-operation.
